Why we
created this
Because nude was never one color. Our book opens with 49 founding shades — each one named by the first people to wear it. Once they're claimed, they're claimed. And the book keeps growing: if yours isn't in it, we'll research it, mix it, and let you name it. Your shade, in your name, for good. So it doesn't sit on your body. It belongs to it.
The book opens with 49 shades — and every one of them belongs to a person. Our founding wearers, from the models who shot the first campaign to the earliest customers, each name a shade as they claim it.
Once a founding shade is named, that name stays with it. When you find yours in the book, you're wearing a color someone chose, on skin it was made for.
49 shades · named once · claimed for goodA technical polyamide-elastane weave, chosen to hold color evenly and sit weightlessly against the skin. Fine enough to vanish under anything, strong enough to move with you.
Because the fabric takes dye so cleanly, the match you see is the match you wear — no drift between the shade in the book and the piece in your hands.
Polyamide / elastane · dye-trueIf your skin isn't in the book yet, we'll research it. Send us your match and our studio mixes a new shade to it — a bespoke dye recipe, made once, for you.
Because that takes real work, a custom shade costs a little more. In return, it's yours to name. Approved and added to the book, your color joins the collection under a name you chose — there for anyone who shares your skin to find.
